Confronting Illusion features stunning paintings by Sussex based artist Piers Ottey whose paintings are instantly recognisable. His trademark ‘colour code’ around the edge of paintings, drawing marks and overpainting are all to be seen in these seemingly simple works.
From his studio on the edge of the South Downs, Piers paints what he is passionate about – the local landscape, his travels abroad and even his motorbikes!
