Portrait of Granny Smith and daughter at Romany Camp, Iver, Bucks., who befriended the artist at Epsom and invited her to visit the Romany camp at Iver. She appears in a number of paintings, including Gypsy Splendour (1939 Nottingham Castle Museum), when she also wears her black feathered hat and brightly coloured shawl.
